What sports, activities, or hobbies did you participate in?
From this reunion weekend, I've pieced together, almost entirely from the memory of others, that I was in band, although in which of them, I am not sure (I was marching band, and possibly one one more - I don't recall there being more than one band). I played the regular clarinet (as opposed the other kinds). I was in Student Council for a bit, and I think I was in every year's class council. I do remember trying swimming, and although I love it, I'm not very fast, so that was that.
Favorite High School Teacher?
This is subject bias (because I love history) — probably Bob Packett.
Favorite High School Memory?
I don't have much of a memory about high school. One thing that I definitely remember was a biology teacher, who had a pet ferret that she would let loose in the classroom. This teacher called me "B.J." (which everyone thought hilarious for some reason) and decorated the Christmas tree in our classroom with taxidermy rodents - all of that would be illegal nowadays, sadly. Does anyone remember her name? "Dr." Something Or Another. [Update: I found her - Dr. Shirley Fraser. Sadly, she passed in 2011 at the age of 71.]
First time you drank too much?
I don't drink. Lame, I know.
Best party or event you attended?
I didn't attend any parties. Lame, I know.
Favorite music genre or band in 1996?
I hated 90s music, generally. Lame, I know.
Coolest fashion style in 1996?
90s fashion was terrible.
Worst fashion style in 1996?
Pretty much all of it.

A breaking news event you remember?
I remember listening to the O.J. white Bronco chase on a radio that M. Dragen had brought, as he, N. Zahos, J. Kersey, and I finished the back nine of a golf course.
High school class that helped you the most?
Physics taught me how to take a (really) bad grade gracefully. Sort of.
These Days
What do you do for work?
I'm a photographer, who mostly works with resorts, hotels, and high-end restaurants (and chefs). Basically, I got a law degree so that I could end up taking pictures of tiny lettuce on gigantic plates.
Military Service?
No, but deep thanks to all who have served.
What do you do in your free time?
I read really thick books about dead people. I also like to travel to see art and eat good food. In fact I'm pretty sure God put me on earth primarily to go out to dinner.
Children/pets (names & ages)?
Nothing living depends on me.
Favorite music genre or band now?
Tom Jones was number one on my Spotify year-end wrap last year, if that gives you any idea of the kind of weirdo I am. I love soul, 80s power ballads, old country, and rock operas.
What's your idea of the best night out?
The problem with this question is that it contains the word "out."
Favorite places lived or traveled?
Anywhere that's cold and dreary, and has good food - so, the UK, Denmark, the Basque coast of Spain, and the West Coast of Ireland - Ireland has surprisingly good food. Those are all places I've visited. I've never lived anywhere as wonderful as Kansas City (truly).
What's still on your Bucket List?
Alaska's the only state I've never visited, and Antarctica is the only continent I've never visited. There remains one Vermeer painting I haven't seen (it's in the King's Picture Gallery at Buck Pal). And maybe, I'll grow up one day and know what I want to do in life other than going out to dinner.
